Support the Clinic for Educational Supports (CES)

Helping children, families, and adults get the evaluations and services they need—without the financial burden.

The Clinic for Educational Supports (CES) at CSU Monterey Bay provides affordable learning, psychological, and speech-language assessments to our community. Many families struggle to access these services due to long waitlists or high costs, and CES exists to change that. CES gives every graduate consistent, high-quality clinical training—hands-on experiences that truly prepare them for the work they’ll do in schools and communities.

Why CES Matters

Your support helps us continue offering:

  • Low-cost psychoeducational evaluations for children and teens (ages 6–17)
  • Developmental assessments for young children (ages 3–6)
  • Speech and language services for children and adults of all ages—covering speech sound disorders, language challenges, literacy concerns, voice and fluency issues, social communication, cognition, hearing disorders, and more.

High-Quality Services, Accessible to All

Services are provided by advanced graduate students in School Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology. Every student is closely supervised by highly trained, licensed faculty—ensuring professional, high-quality care at a fraction of the cost.

What Our Assessments Include

  • Intelligence and academic testing
  • Social, emotional, and behavioral screenings
  • In-depth testing based on individual concerns
  • Parent, child, and teacher interviews
  • A detailed report with personalized recommendations

A Dual Mission That Strengthens Our Community

Your donation helps CES continue its two essential roles:

  • Providing affordable, comprehensive educational and psychological services to the community
  • Training the next generation of school psychologists and speech-language pathologists, who gain hands-on experience while serving local families.
