Here are some of the important purposes that your donation would serve in the Diamond Key Program:
Digital Display ($2,300). One of our biggest challenges is getting student attention. Dedicated on-campus monitors are very effective, but costly. The atrium of the business building offers a prime location and the size of the display will draw attention to the hundreds of students who pass it every day. We’d love for you to help us reach more students with this digital display!

Food for workshops (about $3,000): This is an essential part of holding events for college students. Providing pizza or sandwiches helps to draw students to events. When we hold an event over lunch or dinner, our busy students can combine a meal and a workshop, which saves them time and exposes them to important career information. It also provides a meal for students that are food insecure. We rarely know who those students are, but every time we feed a group, we know we are feeding students that otherwise wouldn’t have that meal.
Creation & presentation of focused workshops for students ($1,000-2,000): Most of our workshop leaders and presenters donate their time and services to the university, but some workshops have modest development and/or presentation costs. For $500, we can fund the development and presentation of a new workshop by a local professional or part-time faculty member. Future presentations of the workshop can be arranged for a much lower fee and sometimes at no cost.
Student Assistant time: Diamond Key Student Assistants develop their excel, marketing, social media marketing, event management, and writing skills by helping with the marketing and data management of the program. They also build their skills and comfort interacting with peers, faculty, and professionals as they support events and participate as part of the Diamond Key Team.
